Al and Mat have announced they have decided to remain in Canada until at least 2008. And it has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the recent election and disturbing media reports from the US that include the word "draft." It's mere coincidence, nothing more...a quirky aligning of the planets… just plain old happenstance…a fluke, really...

In a related story, Canada can barely contain it's excitement. But, then, who can really tell.

Hal met up with the guys through mutual contacts in Nova Scotia, where the recording takes place. He had just as many toys as Al and Mat, with similar divergent interests, so they would get together to jam periodically. Hal had some good ideas around arrangement so it made sense for him to sit in on a few songs during the recording process. He represented a 50% increase in the number of people in the studio…a significant achievement alone.

His favorite saying was that the old adage was absolutely true - he was honored just to be nominated and winning was unbelievable.
